Not exactly "State of the Art". One of the previous posts stated that the Warren Theater is "State of the Art" in every way. I'm sorry to be the one to mention that this simply isn't true. I just moved here in July of 2008. The small city I just moved from renovated all their theaters about two years ago to include not only Digital THX, but also All Digital HD Video. The city I came from is known for being the last to get anything new, so I'm sure there are plenty of new "State of the Art" concepts already in larger cities that we haven't even heard of yet.

Warren is nicely designed! I love the facade and the interior of the lobby. The snack area is very nicely designed also! There is plenty of parking, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful.

On the other hand... Matanee prices are higher at Warren than prime time prices in the city I just came from. OUCH! The individual theaters within Warren; at least the ones I have seen so far, are tiny.

Overall a plesent experience, thanks Warren.

Prices too high. Nice Theater, fair parking. The problem is the prices. As a family of 6, there is no way we can afford to go. We wait until the movie goes to the Palace if we must see it on the big screen or wait for it to come out on video if not. Then there is the price of snacks. No way! I tell the kids that we'll go to Brahms afterwards and they're happy and it's much cheaper!! I can't believe that people keep paying the prices they ask. To each their own.

A moviegoers Dream.... I moved to Wichita in January of 2001,now as I get ready to journey somewhere else, I wanted to review one of the few things there is to do in Wichita...the Movies. The Warren Theatres (East and West)are bar-none the best Movie theaters in town. The technology at both Warren locations is absolutely state of the art, featuring the newest THX EX Surround sound, a 4 story main screen, and the east Warren even has a Balcony and Lounge in the main theatre! (21 up). East Warren moviegoers also get a Diner to sit in while they wait for their movie to start. Truly a force to be reckoned with!
