This place is amazing i support you to go and try it you just have to understand that some ladies don't understand English that well but if you ask them nicest they'll do what you need the food is really good i hope you enjoy it have afford prices and always have coupons out

They over-charge on purpose!. I live right down the street from this Poblano. I used to eat there quite a bit and have always thought the food is pretty good.

The last two times I have been there, they have charged me more money than they should have. The first time I didn't say anything because the people that work there don't speak English very well and it's hard to communicate with them. However, today I went there and I said something. Today will be the last time I ever go there.

I ordered a taco salad, a vegetarian one, and it was supposed to be $5.49. I ordered a side of rice for $1.00 and a side of salsa for $0.50. When I went to pay for my food, I was told the total was $9.62. When I asked why it was that much, the woman didn't even understand what I was saying. Then another woman came over and told me that I had been charged extra for cheese even though I was told that cheese came with the salad. Even if I was charged for cheese, which I shouldn't have been, was a little cheese really worth $2.00. I never got a satisfactory explanation. Being that this is the second time they have done this to me, I won't be going back ever again!

So, this is just a warning to anyone else that goes there. Make sure you are being charged correctly because they like to overcharge and then act like they can't understand what you are talking about when you confront them about doing it!

WORST Mexican Food ever.. I read about Poblano from CitySearch and I was excited to go get some fresh Mexican food. It's a little place in a small strip mall on the west side of Wichita. The menu boasted fresh grilled meat and fresh ingredients. But the reality is that all of the food is pre-cooked and assembled to order. Now that's not a terrible thing but it's not fresh like the menu says or like the previous reviewer wrote about. Nonetheless we ordered a number of different items. Now here's where the real disappointment comes. I told the woman what I wanted on my fajita and she not only did not listen to what I wanted. But when I protested she gave me what I did not order anyway and said that I would like it. How would she know what I like? So I took the fajita, gave it an honest taste. And it was terrible. So I took it back up to the counter and said I did not like it. She just said nothing and did not bother to ask if she could make me a new one the way that I ordered it. Even though it was clear that I had only taken one bite. When I was leaving I gave her another chance to make it right. But she went on this diatribe about how that's how they make it there. Even though the menu says I get to choose what goes in my food. I pointed that out to her and she then said that she did not here me. A notion that was contradicted by her words earlier. This woman stood right there in front of me and lied to my face. I wasn't going to argue with her. So I went to the bathroom before I left and sure enough it was filthy too. Bits of toilet paper on the floor that were soiled with fecal matter.

Quality food, affordable prices. My children and I both enjoy this place. The food is fresh-tasting, with just the right amount of season, the variety is great, the prices, affordable. Usually busy when we're there. The service, for us, has always been good. Unique drinks. Check it out.

Fresh Mex at it's best.... I came here from California, the land of fresh Mex. food. I have to say that this place ranks with the best of them. Try their chicken tacos. they're the best and it's alot of food. BEs tof all, pablano is locally owned.
