UNPROFESSIONAL. I had our families portraits taken by Crossroads Photography, and I would recommend going to another photographer. The staff and owner seemed very unprofessional. Our photos, for the prices we paid, were very disappointing. I could of gone elsewhere and paid half the price and had a better experience. I suggest doing some research. The photographer, Karen, seemed like she didn't want to be there and was not pleasant to be around.

TERRIBLE Service. The photographer thinks that she is better than everyone else; she does not care about what YOU want in YOUR picture. If you asked about your hair, she would just blow you off....or asked about anything for that matter. She also made fun of some of the studnets. She travelled to take individual photos of our group (quite a few of us), and just treated us all like we were a number. When it was your turn she would scream "SIT!" This lady is VERY unprofessional and I am truly EMBARRASSED to have had my picture taken by her.

NOT recommended. We had a rather odd experience with the owner / photographer at our recent appointment. Something was not right and seemed like maybe we were dealing with someone with a less than stable mindset... A few of our photos were ok, with the price we paid and the quality plus experience with our visit was less than satisfactory. I would recommend going elsewhere for your family photos.

New Studio is Breathtaking!. Karen has done an amazing job with the new studio in Mulvane! It's absolutely beautiful. Every photograph there is a piece of art. Things seem to be running much more smoothly now since she is in a new location and all the renovations are done. Good luck, Karen! I see great things in Crossroads Photography's future!

Talk around town. I heard some of the same thing around town. Some negative talk about Karen acting rude and pre-occupied during their kids sessions. I have 3 little ones and have been there once, it wasn't GREAT by all means. There are more photographers around town.

Highly recommend Crossroads Photography. My husband and I first went to Crossroads Photography last May to have pictures taken of me in my third trimester of my third and final pregnancy and also with my hubby! We also had our daughters included in the session in some of the pictures as well. My family had a blast during our session and I couldn't wait to see our pictures. Karen kept us all comfortable the entire time and kept us all laughing with her great sense of humor. When we came in to view our photos, the pictures were put into a slide show to music that brought tears to my eyes!!!! They were the most beautiful pictures and so breathtaking. Karen is a very talented photographer and a wonderful person. Because we were so happy with our maternity session, we decided to come back to Crossroads for my sons first year of pictures (newborn, 3&6mo. and 1yr.) Karen has been very patient, caring, and open minded with what we want when we come to her for pictures. Karen, and the talented ladies that work for her have us as clients for life!!!!! Keep up the hard work Crossroads! We really appreciate all you've done for our family. We are already cherishing our memories!!!!!

INTERESTING THAT DAY AFTER EMPLOYEE IS DISMISSED BAD REVIEWS POPPED UP. My heart sunk when I received an email with a review saying that I was rude to a clients three children and elderly grandmother. Then a second review (both dated Dec. 19th - day after an employee was dismissed) saying that her daughter regretted having me take her senior pictures because I acted like I would rather have been somewhere else. I have never been rude to a client and always put 100% of my energy into every session I have ever done. After receiving an email from PPA (Professional Photographers Association) talking about sticking up for yourself, I decided to comment on those two reviews. I love what I am able to do for families by creating images for them that will hold special memories.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND CROSSROADS PHOTOGRAPHY. I took my daughter to get her senior pictures taken and we paid quite a bit up front for the services. During the session Karen acted like she would of rather been somewhere else, she was acting very annoyed at the fact she HAD to take her pictures. When we got our pictures back you could definitely tell that this photographer was not enjoying herself. The whole process took about 2 months with getting our order back and everything. I felt that we were not treated well and my daughter regrets going there.
