Wichita >Eddy's Toyota
I visited two dealerships the day I purchased my car. The other dealership was like the old way of cars sales that you spend a lot of time waiting and you get the feeling that you are not getting a good deal. It was the total opposite when I visited Eddies Toyota. The experience was warm and very friendly. I felt good about our purchase and the care to make sure all is going good after the sale. I dealt with two great sales associate’s that made the process wonderful.
I purchased my last truck at Eddys and
was very pleased with my overall experience.
So when I wanted to trade for something new there was no question as to where I would go. I live in Colorado but that was not an issue. After being online and looking at what was available I received an email from the customer service rep and was soon in touch with Ryan Pate.
He has excellent customer service qualities. He was prompt, informative and honest.
As I told him, I hate car shopping but he made it so easy and pleasant!
The finance man Troy was very nice and finished out our purchase with ease.
I will return to Eddy's when I decide to purchase another new vehicle.
And I LOVE my 2013 FJ Cruiser!
First of all, I brought a car to be serviced and was very impressed. While there, met Dean Maxwell in sales who was so knowledgeable and very comfortable to be with, I knew I would like to buy a car from him. The dealership is a very nice place to be.
Ian did a great job as my salesman. He was polite and returned my call. I would work with Ian again when buying a car.
Travis was a pleasure to work with, start to finish. He was very friendly and did not pressure us at all, which I prefer in a car salesman. I truly believe that Travis had our best interests at heart and will definitely recommend to any friends, family, or acquaintances. Thanks again Travis!!!
Barbara was very helpful in showing us the model that we wanted to see, in answering our questions, in arranging financing, and in describing all the options on the car that we purchased. We would definitely recommend her to any prospective customer who is interested in purchasing a new vehicle.
This was our 5th or 6th Toyota we purchased from Eddy's, always had great service with the sale, also every TOYOTA we purchased previously served is exceptionally well!!!
We were very impressed with the service provided by the salesperson (Barbara Jackson). She is knowledgeable of the vehicles and was very helpful to us as we determined which vehicle to buy. She applied no pressure, just very useful information. She was eager to please in every way and exceeded any previous new car buying experience we've had (and we've bought several newbies from different dealerships over the years). We are more than eager to recommend this dealership and this particular salesperson. I believe they have really stepped up to change the experience from potentially torturous to enjoyable. We appreciate the entire procedure even through to and including the financing guy, Jim Elledge. FANTASTIC TEAM!
Landon seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicles in which we had an interest. We appreciated that he was not at all pushy. He was helpful even after the sale. His explanation of the somewhat complex electronic systems made the transition to our new vehicle pleasant.
I purchased a new car from Eddy’s
Toyota in August of 2011 without incident. I felt that I was treated fairly and didn’t have any immediate problems. With the purchase of my new car, I got two years of free car washes at Eddy’s. This involved me pulling into the service entrance and letting their employees drive my car to a carwash that was out of my sight. Typically it was washed, vacuumed, and returned in 20 minutes or less.
A couple of months ago, I removed my wedding ring when I went into the gym and put it in my console. I forgot to put it back on when I returned to my car, and proceeded to Eddy’s for a car wash. When I got home, I realized I didn’t have my ring on and I went out to get it, only to find it missing. I turned my car inside out looking for it, but was 100% sure that I placed it in my console.
I’m not the type to go shouting accusations, so I delicately approached the issue with one of the service guys there, asking if by chance it may have been vacuumed up on accident, although I knew that that was a near impossibility. He asked a guy who had recently cleaned the vacuum filters and told me that they had found nothing.
About a month later I took it back in for another carwash, this time with a $70 bottle of cologne in my car door pocket. After returning home, I realized the cologne was gone as well. I called Eddy’s the next day and asked to speak to a manager. I got an assistant, who seemed concerned and took my name and number down.
After going about a week without a returned phone call, I went to Eddy’s and spoke with the Service Manager directly in his office. He was very nice and seemed legitimately concerned about my situation. But beyond apologizing and assuring me that they do everything they can to try and prevent theft, there wasn’t much more he could do.
Ultimately, I will not buy a car from Eddy’s again. The perks that they offer with a new car purchase are simply not worth it when I have to worry about having items stolen out of my car when I drop it off for service or a car wash. The ring and cologne are one thing, but how can I be sure that the same characters who stole those items weren’t looking through my briefcase, finding my address, my kids’ names, etc…
