Best garlic salad. Always went there for the steaks/garlic salad. Heard it isn't near as good as it used to be....wonder why not? People will fly in there if food decent, just to eat the tasty garlic salad. Will try it one more time when in town next. Grew up eating there.

Gotta try Doc's signature Garlic Salad. Quality Steaks are reasonably priced. Chicken Fried Steak and Spaghetti & Meatballs are always good. Relaxed atmosphere where you can drink a cold beer, too.. Gotta try Doc's signature Garlic Salad. Some call it garlic slaw... either way it is like no other salad you've eaten before. Quality Steaks are either grilled or charbroiled to your preference and are reasonably priced. Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Shrimp, Fried Chicken and Spaghetti & Meatballs are also long time favorites. Relaxed atmosphere where you can drink a cold beer served by the bottle with a cold glass or enjoy a cocktail. Service is prompt and friendly. Take out orders available. I have been eating at Doc's since 1956 when my parents tell me our favorite waitress "Peggy" fed me my first garlic salad when I was in diapers, so I am biased. But even though I now live in Texas, whenever I get to Wichita, I get to Doc's.
