good food. we went to N and J's monday to celebrate my birthday. i had been there for lunch many times but never for dinner and never with my family. it was free hummus night which was good since my grandson was starving and we needed to get something in him fast!! I love their hummus and pita chips! my husband and I order Beef schawarmas and my daughter ordered the chicken version and my son in law order the gyro. my husband ordered a side of cabbage rolls and loved them. we had the tabbouleh salad with our wrap. I did not care for the salad at all. mostly mint with very little bulgar wheat. not the way I was used to eating it. the wraps were excellent and we would definitely go back again.

Poor quality of food. Skip nj's, forget about bells Luna and go to the kebab house on west st. By far the best middle eastern in wichita

I love this place. I love N & J's I too crave their hummus. They have fantastic food, the Mediterranean chicken wings are amazing. The wraps are great. I love the chicken shwarma and if you get desert you have to have their terramissu. RIght away seating available. Their parking lot isn't that great but you can usually find a place to park. The service however I've never been a fan of. I've been going their for years, and the wait staff has changed but like it's been said no one is in a hurry there. & I've had the occasional rude waitress. there is actually 2 waitresses there 1 of which I don't think is there anymore and a young girl that I will avoid as a waitress if possible. She's impatient, unhelpful, kind of snotty & tries to push you out the door. But she's one girl out of the entire group & everyone else has been nice. The food is so good though I'll even put up with her. I love this place.

Fantastic restaurant. Yes, the service is slow. And you should check your order with takeout from anywhere. I've never known them to be rude, just slow. The food is amazing. Hummus is the best in town. Quieter than Bella Luna, food is slightly better. Seems healthier too, although I haven't seen nutritional info sheets or anything.(Just less grease)

Best restaurant in town!!!. I would highly recommend going here. They have the best hummus and the chicken schwarma is amazing. They have friendly staff and a very inviting atmosphere. I would go here all the time if i could! Do NOT miss this place if visiting and if you live here and havent been, you should definatley give it a try. You won't regret it!

FORGET ABOUT IT!!!! TERRIBLE! GO TO BELLA LUNA AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE. My first and last experience with N&J was horrible. The service was slow and staff was rude. It was so bad that I decided to place a to go order after waiting to be waited on. I thought the order was fairly simple; small Fattoush salad with chicken and a small order of hummus. Hhmmm, not that hard right? Apparently so. When my order was up I gladly paid for it--with a tip included and left N&J to enjoy my meal at home. At home I realized my fattoush salad had no chicken--I was not as upset about that as I was not seeing any kalamata olives or feta cheese which is traditional on a fattoush salad. Already irratated I opened my hummus to find some kind of lamb wrap and at that point I was angry. Hummus is one of those things you crave and my good nature was crushed. Long story short, I will never go there again and especially after I called and complained about the mix up and received no form of apology. Instead I got "oh, that was not your order, huh?" Ya got that right! Save yourself and go to BELLA LUNA!!! They have 3 locations in Wichita along with great service, food, atmosphere and hummus. Forget N&J.

One Of Few Reasons I'd Return To Wichita. Now that I no longer live in Wichita, this place is one of the only restaurants that I actually would make a trip (180 mi) back for. Now that I live closer to the KC area, we find ourselves searching (unsuccessfully) for something comparable. The hummus can't be beat. I tell all people who claim to not like hummus that they haven't tried N & J's or they'd be a believer. The fried pita chips are that something extra that make you remember this place. I find myself craving their shawarma platter. Always tasted fresh and not processed. The service is beyond friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially if you opt for the daily special.

My Favorite Wichita Restaurant. I love the food here! Authentic Lebanese, complete with belly dancing on Saturday nights. The grocery is handy too - selling many things you can't find anywhere else. Every dish here is above average. The fried pita chips are to die for.

To die for hummus. I really enjoy coming to N&J. It's not overly popular that you feel completely surrounded by people, but it is definitely not a "hole in the wall" place. It's down to earth vibe, simple yet elegant decor, and AMAZING food (and wallet friendly as well) are reason enough for me to drive 15 minutes to get there. The hummus is the BEST in Wichita. It is a must try when going there.

Great dining and great shop.... My experience at N & J was great. The food was great, service was just fine, and the selection in their shop was nice as well. If you have the nack, you can find the ingredients to what you like to eat - in their shop and buy it, take it home and make it from there too. But sometimes, you just cant beat the taste of cooking from anothers hands. Its a great place to dine, alone or with friends or family, and you wont go broke doing it. Please, if you havent gone, go give it a try, you will be glad you did, i promise...
