not all its cracked up to be.... I had frequented the shadow many times, being from nyc and being an amex black card holder it "seemed" to be the right fit for me. Well, i was wrong. The owner of the place Diane is an extreme sweetheart, elegant, and i loe her, her son mike gms the place, being a high profile client i had my own security and they would not let them carry, funny when they are professionals who are trained to carry and are former swat officers and marshalls, you would think if anything went down , you would at least have 2 guys there right on the spot who could protect others also. that wasnt the only thing, i spent a very good amount of money there, had my vip table, one night i went to the bathroom and when i came back there were people sitting at my table, there was an incident in the bathroom, i am a big guy 6' 245lbs, and a big fat guy with a chip on his shoulder purposely bumped his shoulder into mine, the bouncer who was escorting me did nothing about it, my security detail i had outside sending a bottle of champagne to a woman for her birthday, ok 2 strikes, next time a little asian punk about 145 lbs soaking wet slams his shoulder into a customer ahead of me, gets past my bouncer and slams it into me, i threw him back, the owners son was there witnessed it, my security detail was behind me as the bouncer was leading and the owners son did nothing about it, was afriad to kick the guy out who had like 12 of his friends are here. Yeah so? myself and my security are more than well trained to handle that, plus just call the police if you had a problem, i was shown no respect after spending alot of money there. but the real kick was a few days l;ater i tmd one of the (barmaids) alex .who is 20 , cant even open a bottle of champagne, i tipped this girl approx $250 each time i went there, and she had the nerve to tell me that mike does evrything he can for me and if i come in again to get a different waitress, what an insult.mike hasnt even called to apologize.
