I read the post on here and decided I
would investigate a little further. Most of us search the internet to see reviews so I was disappointed to see the post on Delano dog grooming because on google search there were 2 good post and I had already scheduled an appointment for my 3 precious Yorkies. So the first thing I did was make a visit before day of grooming with No notice what did I find. Sure the carpet may be a little old SO WHAT I was not there to see the decor the smell there was none debit card did not see machine no big deal most small business usually do not have debit card machine that's expensive they would have to charge more for grooming to cover that! She has already told me how much it would be including tax so i know what to bring. This lady was really nice she invited to look in back I looked around it was clean AND quiet and calm that's nice dogs in there seemed relaxed no panting or yelping or pacing . I have decided Susie deserves a chance my dogs appointment is tomorrow. What is sad is ONE person can post something and it cancels out all the good ones it can cause a business to lose clients. I feel bad that someone had a bad expensive but how was your dog? How was the hair cut because you did not mention any of that. I will post tomorrow when my dogs get groomed.
Magnificent Awesome Susie! The grooming job was GREAT! After she groomed the dogs I asked a few questions to get to know Susie a little better. Susie does not overbook her dogs she explained that it not about the quantity of dogs she can squeeze into the day its about the quality of work she also added that she doesn't want dogs to be stressed out and she doesn't want to be stressed either. Her goal is to create a good experience for her dogs and have happy customers. I have found it a great groomer thank you Susie.
Don't Even Think About it!.
My normal groomer was unusually busy so I decided to take my toy poodle to Delano Dog Grooming for a change since Susie had an opening. What a mistake.
I showed up and was underwhelmed to say the least. The carpet was very stained and run down, it smelt like animals, and there was no lobby area for you to sit down or anything. It was all just a tiny room. Ignoring my instincts I left my puppy there and returned several hours later to pick him up. I walk in and there is white cat fur all over the kennel holding my puppy, the floor, the counter, etc. She asked me to wait while she finished the cat. I proceeded to pay with my debit card and she tells me that they don't take cards... good to know since I don't carry cash. She tells me to return my dog to his kennel and go to the ATM down the street. (Not trying to be a tightwad but using any other ATM but my banks results in lots of fees.) My partner came in from the car and had the cash, whew. Well, now she tells me that they don't have change, because the cash register is her coin purse. Several days later I realized that they didn't put his collar back on him before sending him home so I called and left a message twice and I haven't heard back in over a week!
I recommend Royal Heirs Pet Spa, that's where I usually take my pups. They literally treat them like little princes and princesses. Clean, inviting, welcoming, professional, affordable, everything you could want. Just make sure you book in advance!
I never write reviews but this was such a bad experience I felt like I had to warn the masses!
