One of Wichita's key small businesses.. In 23 years of there service, I can remember my father telling me to call them. It was my first house, and the refrigerator went out. In going down there, I was met with friendly faces, and a affordable approach to my situation.

The next year, another one of my freezers went bad. So I went back to share the same wonderful experience I did my first time.

I can't say for ever business in Wichita, but its nice to see good service, and even for used goods. The units provided a long service life as well. I highly recommend them.

Sensational service and great pricing!. My father-in-law lives in Wichita, and we visit a couple of times a year. On our last visit he was having problems with his washing machine. Every time we tried to use it, it would flood the entire laundry room. He wasn't sure who to call, so I took matters into my own hands. I found Appliance Doctor Inc and was so glad that I did. They arrived almost immediately, and were able to fix the problem. Dad thought he was going to have to buy a new machine because this was an older model, and he wasn't sure if they would have the parts. Well they did, and even gave him a 1 year service and parts warranty. These guys are the best, and if you are having appliance issues, you have to call them!

Top Notch Service & Friendly Staff. I must say that after reading these reviews I was worried about using the Appliance Doctor, but after working with them and speaking directly with them I was assured that I would be in good hands. This is exactly true. They are an outstanding company and perform well and above the job.. I am definitely using them whenever I need an appliance repaired or advice. THANKS!

Beware of everything about them. I had a problem with the inducer motor in my furnace and called Appliance Doctor. They charged me $50 service call and came out with a new motor 3 days later. They said the motor was $450. Beings I needed a motor I agreed to go ahead with the repair. I did some research and found that the motor could be purchased retail anywhere for $124-154.00. Beware of this company.

The service tech was also not too bright because he put a jumper wire on the furnace to make it run without me changing the thermostat. He left the jumper wire on and put the cover back on the furnace which made it run. It would have run til doomsday had I not said something about the wire. duh. He took it off and left to get the part. When he came back, it so happened it was the wrong part and he started to take the olds one apart to exchange the shroud on the fan motor, then I said something about that and he said, "oh, it is the wrong part". duh. He left and came back with the correct one and put it on. This was a $300 + clear profit for a job that I could have done myself for $150 or less.

will never use again. We had them work on our air conditioner two years ago and began to experience problems again a few months ago. When we had it fixed again (by different company) recently, we found that two years ago, when replacing the capacitor, The Appliance Doctor simply left the old one bolted in, hooked the new one up via (unprotected) wires and actually set the new one in beside the old one, leaving it in it's box!!! We saw this before the current company replaced both of them, and have the used ones and weathered box as proof sitting on our shelf. It is amazing that the cardboard box didn't catch fire! The company that corrected the problem said they had never seen anything like this before, and that we were very lucky that our air conditioner had not caught fire or the motor burned out completely.

Great service! Great people!. We were traveling through town (in a motor home) and had a major refrigerator problem. These folks fixed us up right away, and did so at a fair price. We feel lucky to have found them. Thanks!
